The families of Bisina Wowei and Denboyegha Fomigha, of Ogbinbiri and Ofunama communities in Warri North and Ovia South West Local Government Areas of Delta and Edo States, respectively, have been thrown into deep mourning following the death of their beloved daughter, Mrs. Rhoda Madebi London (née Bisina).

According to a family statement made available to Global Egberi Media International, the late Mrs. Rhoda London peacefully passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, after a prolonged illness that she bore with remarkable courage and faith.

Her passing has left a profound void in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who knew her. She was described as a virtuous woman — kind-hearted, compassionate, prayerful, and deeply committed to her family and community.

Born into the respected Bisina family of Ogbinbiri and married into the Fomigha family of Ofunama, Mrs. Rhoda London’s life was a bridge between two closely-knit Ijaw communities united by kinship, love, and shared heritage. She was known for her cheerful spirit, generosity, and unwavering devotion to God.

Following her passing, both families convened an emergency joint meeting where they resolved to set up a Burial Committee to coordinate and oversee all funeral activities in honour of their beloved daughter.

The committee, chaired by Mr. Friday Lelekumo, has been mandated to provide regular updates on burial arrangements as plans progress.

In a joint message signed by the committee chairman, the families expressed gratitude to relatives, friends, and well-wishers for the outpouring of condolences, love, and prayers during this difficult time. They further appealed for continued support and prayers as they prepare to celebrate the life and legacy of a woman who touched many lives with her humility, faith, and warmth.

As the families prepare for her final rites, the memory of Mrs. Rhoda Madebi London remains evergreen in the hearts of those who knew her. She will be remembered not for her passing, but for her kindness, laughter, and the love she spread so freely.

May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace. 🕊️

Signed:
Mr. Friday Lelekumo
Chairman, Burial Committee
