In yet another historic stride for women in academia, the Delta State Government has approved the appointment of Dr. (Mrs.) Erere Joy Anho as the Acting Rector of Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku. Before her appointment, she was the  Deputy Rector of the institution.

The news was received with immense joy across the Polytechnic community and beyond, as colleagues, students, and admirers hailed her as a woman of integrity, intellect, and proven administrative acumen.
