05 FOUNDATION HOLDS 4-DAY FREE EYE MEDICAL OUTREACH IN ASABA

In a bid to promote quality healthcare and restore the gift of sight to the people, the 05 Foundation, in collaboration with the Restore Sight Africa Initiative, has announced a 4-day Free Eye Medical Outreach for residents of Oshimili South Local Government Area and its environs.
The humanitarian event, themed “Touching Lives, Restoring Hope,” is a community-based medical intervention designed to restore vision, prevent avoidable blindness, and promote general eye health among Nigerians, particularly the less privileged.

The outreach is scheduled to hold as follows:
📅 Date: Tuesday, 28th – Friday, 31st October, 2025
🕗 Time: 8:00 a.m. daily
📍 Venue: Ophthalmology Department, Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Asaba, Delta State.
During the 4-day exercise, medical professionals and volunteers from 05 Foundation and Restore Sight Africa Initiative will be offering a wide range of free eye care services, including:
✅ Comprehensive eye examinations
✅ Free surgeries for cataract and other eye conditions
✅ Provision of free prescription glasses
✅ Free medications for eye-related infections and diseases
✅ Follow-up consultations to ensure continued improvement in eye health
