Prince Agbedeyi Odimientimi Celebrates Ambassador Jude Ebitimi Ukori on His Birthday

The birthday of Ambassador Jude Ebitimi Ukori (JP), a respected former Chairman of the Egbema-Gbaramatu Communities Development Foundation (EGCDF), has been marked with glowing tributes and prayers from leaders across the Niger Delta. Among the most notable tributes is that of Prince Agbedeyi Odimientimi Desmond, Dean, School of Applied Sciences, Delta State Polytechnic Ogwashi-Uku, a principal lecturer, seasoned activist, and development advocate.

In his birthday message, Prince Desmond hailed Ambassador Ukori as “a shining light in a world that desperately needs selfless leadership.” He praised Ukori’s transformational leadership during his tenure at EGCDF beginning in April 2017, during which more than 19 stalled projects were completed and over a hundred youths across the Egbema and Gbaramatu kingdoms were empowered through vocational training and education.

“You are not just a man of public office,” Prince Desmond stated. “You are a legacy builder. Your type of servant leadership is rare, and your calm strength continues to speak volumes in a region thirsty for justice and genuine development.”

Ambassador Ukori, a graduate of English and Literary Studies from Kogi State University, is widely known for his integrity, humility, and dedication to ethical leadership. His tenure as EGCDF chairman brought about landmark initiatives, including the empowerment of 108 youths with complete starter packs in tailoring, catering, photography, hairdressing, and carpentry.

Prince Agbedeyi also offered a spiritual note of blessing:

“May Almighty Teme-Owei lift you into new seasons of influence. May the seeds of change you’ve sown across the creeks and communities of the Niger Delta flourish for generations to come.”

Ambassador Ukori is often referred to as a “clear thinker and strategic voice of reason,” having championed over 172 infrastructural projects through Chevron’s partnership with host communities under the EGCDF. His efforts helped stabilize community-company relations and accelerated grassroots development in Delta State.

Concluding his tribute, Prince Agbedeyi Odimientimi Desmond encouraged the youth to emulate Ambassador Ukori’s trail of impact:

“Ambassador Ukori is a living manual for ethical leadership, compassion, and visible results. Let’s study and replicate such examples.”
