Dr. Uguoji lamented the prolonged abandonment of the bridge project, stating that its completion could transform the socioeconomic dynamics of several Ijaw communities cut off from urban development.

“We all know that if the construction of the bridge is completed, it will fast-track economic growth in our towns and villages that are currently isolated from mainstream urban business activities.”

The call for development is not an isolated voice. The statement also acknowledged the unwavering efforts of the traditional institution, particularly the paramount ruler of Arogbo Kingdom, His Imperial Majesty, Pere Z.D. Egbunu JP Opukutu III, who has continually championed the bridge project as a vital artery for regional growth.

Dr. Uguoji further advised that Dr. Tob-Loko must collaborate closely with Hon. Donald Kimikanboh Ojogo, the Member of the House of Representatives representing Ilaje/Ese-Odo Federal Constituency.
