BREAKING: Comrade Lucky O.O Ukueku Commends Tantita Security Services, Condemns Protesters

Warri, Delta State – July 27, 2025

In a strong show of support and regional solidarity, Comrade Lucky O.O Ukueku, the First Elected Executive National President of the National Association of the Presidential Amnesty Scholarship Students Worldwide (NAPASW) and National Chairman of the Niger Delta Youth for Good Governance (NDYFGG), has issued a firm endorsement of Tantita Security Services while calling for an end to ongoing protests against the company.

Speaking to journalists after a stakeholders' meeting with Delta ethnic leaders under the Niger Delta for Good Governance forum in Warri, Comrade Ukueku expressed admiration for Tantita’s performance and the pivotal role it continues to play in maintaining security and stability across the oil-rich region.

🛑 Condemnation of Protesters

Comrade Ukueku minced no words in condemning the protests targeted at Tantita Security Company. He emphasized that the company is a private security entity owned by an indigenous son of the soil, not a federal parastatal.

“Every community in Delta State has benefited in one way or the other from Tantita's grassroots initiatives. Protests are counterproductive. Let’s engage in peaceful dialogue and build together,”

he said.

💼 Key Achievements of Tantita Security Services

Ukueku highlighted some of the key contributions made by Tantita Security Services under its leadership:

  • ✅ Boosting national oil production through regional stabilization
  • ✅ Employing thousands of Niger Delta youths, thereby curbing criminality and oil theft
  • ✅ Ensuring the protection of pipelines and critical oil infrastructure

He noted that these accomplishments have not only saved the country billions in revenue loss but also restored investor confidence in the region.

🔧 Challenges and Constructive Engagement

Addressing the current tension and opposition from a few quarters, Comrade Ukueku appealed to Niger Delta youths and stakeholders to exercise restraint and support the good work being done by Tantita.

“Support don’t sabotage. Peace and unity remain our only road to lasting development,”

he remarked.

🌟 Commending Leadership: High Chief Kestin Pondi & Tompolo

Comrade Ukueku extended commendation to the Managing Director of Tantita Security Services, High Chief Kestin Ebimorbowei Pondi, describing him as a generous leader who has gone beyond job creation to support ethnic groups with genuine interest in peace and progress.

He also paid tribute to High Chief (Dr.) Government Ekpemupolo a.k.a Tompolo, the visionary behind Tantita Security Services, calling him a symbol of hope and one who has "restored dignity, empowerment, and order to the Niger Delta."

🤝 Call for Unity and National Support

Comrade Ukueku concluded his statement with a clarion call to all Niger Delta leaders, youth organizations, and traditional councils to throw their weight behind Tantita and its leadership. He cautioned against blackmail, misrepresentation, and divisive tactics capable of derailing the development of the region.

“Let us promote peace, unity, and regional pride. Let us support those making real sacrifices to defend our land, our people, and our future,”

he concluded.

The remarks were met with applause from stakeholders present, reinforcing the wide support that Tantita Security Services continues to enjoy across various communities.
