In the Zamfara offensive, troops reportedly killed Turji’s second-in-command, Aminu Kanawa, along with 24 others. Key lieutenants, including Dosso (Turji’s younger brother) and Danbokolo, sustained terminal injuries during the raids.
Not stopping there, the Nigerian military further dealt a psychological blow to Turji’s network by killing his biological son during coordinated air and ground strikes on the Fakai area of Shinkafi LGA in Zamfara. Several fighters were also eliminated as the strikes dismantled major bandit hideouts.
